All of Astronomy Sir Patrick Moore Books
This huge book covers all of astronomy from its ancient beginnings to the great telescopes of the present and their amazing revelations, and human activities in space. So far I have read only a fraction of the short but very informative chapters. Every one of them made me wish to read more about the subject. The images are magnificent. Considering the low price for such a magnificent book, this must have been a labor of love for the many people who created it.Added after receiving the paperback edition: The height and width of the pages has been reduced by about 1/3 to produce the paperback edition. As a result this is not the stunning book the hardcover edition is but it is still a very fine book. Also, it might fit into a bookcase while the hardcover can only be kept on a coffee table. Another difference is that the hardcover comes with a disk containing the entire book.

All of Astronomy Sir Patrick Moore Books Reviews
I have loved astronomy ever since i was introduced to it at age two. This book is perfect for people like me.
The book was delivered in an exquist cover for display and storage. The photography is amazing, the information is current, and the organization of the universe is easy to flow through. This is spectacular.
good book with lots of great detailed pictures. size of pictures helps for getting a proper estimate and appreciation of outer space
More than a pretty coffee table book, this multi-faceted volume presents the wonders of our universe in an enjoyable and stimulating way. Aimed at the layman but not "dumbed down", the detailed articles will enlighten and inspire the lover of our night skies and provoke the thirst for more. Exceeding my expectations, this book is to be highly recommended.
I picked this book up at a Barns & Noble and instantly fell in love with it. I bought it for it's A - Z listing of constellations, when and where to find them in the sky, and the stories behind them, but this book has become SO MUCH MORE. From the beginning of star gazing to where we are now in searching the stars, this book is AMAZING!
The only thing that I don't like about this book is they should have included a map of all, or "clusters" of surrounding constellations. I bought a second copy for my 10 year old niece and she had a little difficulty finding the constellations because she couldn't make out one from another, but once she had a good idea of one, she could find others, but it would have been a little more helpful with a more detailed map.
But other than that I'm very happy with this book and read from it weekly! And I've owned my copy for more than a year!
